Due to several incidents in the past few months, I am officially closing
The Gumbo Shop for the foreseeable future. It has come to my attention
that certain works archived on this site have been copied, stolen and
perpetrated as original works under other authors' names. Unfortunately,
because copyright law being what it is, I have been unable to pursue this
matter to the degree of satisfaction I would like. In order to prevent
this from happening again, The Gumbo Shop will be closed until further notice.
Other factors contribute to this decision including changes in my
personal and professional life which have made it virtually impossible
to maintain the site as regularly as I'd once hoped. Hopefully, though,
I'll be able to come back with some announcements in the near future
detailing upcoming projects under my name. Thanks to everyone who's
written in and kept up with the logjam of literary insanity in The
Gumbo Shop. Be easy.
